Police officer injured during traffic stop in South Jersey; driver arrested

Police say Officer Joshua Garnder was hit during a traffic stop on Rising Sun Road in Bordentown Township.

A police officer is recovering after being hit by a car in South Jersey.
Police say Officer Joshua Garnder was hit during a traffic stop on Rising Sun Road in Bordentown Township. They say a speeding Buick hit him in the arm with its passenger side mirror. 
The car kept going, but police eventually apprehended the driver.
Police arrested Jason Spencer, of Trenton, in connection to the incident. Spencer is now facing charges.
