Police in Mount Olive say a man is accused of yelling at officers and setting off his car alarm purposely after refusing to wear a mask.

Police: Man refused to wear mask in hotel, yelled at officers and set off car alarm purposely
Police in Mount Olive say a man is accused of yelling at officers and setting off his car alarm purposely after refusing to wear a mask.
Police were called Monday to the Holiday Inn Express in town regarding a potential patron refusing to wear a mask.
According to police, the suspect, identified as Dominick Fernandez, was seen not wearing a mask. Police say Fernandez left the area and met officers at the Village Green Shopping Center.
Police say Fernandez was continually yelling across the lot and purposely setting off his car alarm.
He was placed under arrest and issued a summons for disorderly conduct and was released, pending a court hearing.
