A man is dead after being hit by a car outside Atlantic Terminal.
Police say the victim, 33-year-old Luis Garcia, was apparently trying to cross Flatbush Avenue, which is eight lanes of traffic, against the light when he was hit.
It happened just after midnight at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Fourth Avenue.
Investigators say Garcia was struck by a car and killed while crossing.
Witnesses tell police that just moments before he was fatally hit, an SUV swerved to avoid him.
News 12 is told both drivers remained at the scene and were speaking to investigators.
A man who told News 12 he was Garcia's brother says he is shocked and heartbroken, saying his brother was a father.
No arrests have been made.
