Police: Man drowns in surf in Seaside Heights
Police say a New Brunswick man drowned in rough surf off of Seaside Heights this weekend. 
They say officers responded to a call at Fremont and Beach Avenues Saturday around 7:15 p.m.
Investigators say Amajeets Parmar was hit by a wave near Casino Pier.
The 44-year-old man was administered CPR by first responders, but was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the victim's wife and young son were on the beach at the time of the incident.
