yesterdayWest Deptford police say they have arrested a 44-year-old man connected to a church fire that occurred Saturday morning.
Authorities say Brian Cannon is facing arson and aggravated assault charges for the fire that broke out at the Colonial Manor United Methodist Church.
One firefighter suffered an injury at the scene and was hospitalized. They were treated and later released.
No other injuries were reported, and the nearby homes were undamaged.
