A scary situation in South Brunswick sends a woman and her granddaughter to the hospital Thursday.
Police say a generator caused fatal levels of carbon monoxide inside a home in South Brunswick.
The woman thought she was having a heart attack, but instead it was carbon monoxide poisoning.
At a time when many people are without power, officials warn residents to make sure that generators are at least 10 to 15 feet away from the house and in a well ventilated space.
