The superintendent of a building in Ewing has been charged with secretly setting up a camera to record people using the rental office's restroom.

Jules Warner, superintendent of the Parkside Court Apartments on Parkside Avenue, has been charged with invasion of privacy after police received complaints from a female employee. According to police, the employee noticed a small red light when the bathroom was dark. She allegedly followed the source of the light and spotted a two-inch camera by the toilet's cleaning brush.

Police say Warner plans on turning himself in on Thursday. Police have launched an investigation into the incident but have not recovered any videotapes. It is also not clear if any recordings were broadcast over the Internet. Tenants say they're worried more cameras may have been set up in the building's other bathrooms.

The rental office doubles as Warner's apartment. The apartment complex's owners say they've already fired Warner and are working on evicting him.
