A deer crashed into a car on Route 21 in Clifton, injuring the driver.

Police say the deer jumped from the Route 3 overpass and smashed through the windshield of the vehicle.

Jasper Cordero was driving behind the car at the time and crashed into it after the driver suddenly stopped. He says that he and another person helped pull the driver out.

"And when we backed my vehicle away-- and actually finally opened up the door, a full-on deer -- sitting under the steering wheel shaft,” Cordero says.

The driver who hit the deer suffered minor injuries.
