Police in Jersey City are still investigating after a mother and her 5-year-old son were found dead inside their Lincoln Street home.
The mother, who was in her 20s, and the boy were taken to Christ Hospital where they were pronounced dead at around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The deaths are considered suspicious, but there's still very little information on what happened.
Air quality samples inside the second-floor apartment have come back negative for carbon monoxide.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the deaths.
