Newark police say that eight people were hurt, including five students, when a car struck a school bus and a parked car.

Police: 8 hurt, including 5 students, when car strikes school bus
Newark police say that eight people were hurt, including five students, when a car struck a school bus and a parked car.
The crash happened around 4 p.m. on Seymour Avenue and West Runyon Street in Newark.
Police say that a car struck the school bus and then a parked car.
The five students on the school bus were taken to University Hospital to be checked out. The driver of the other vehicle and the two people in the parked car were also taken to the hospital.
The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
