Police say three people are recovering today after sustaining serious injuries in a crash with a tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike.
Officials say the car the three people were in was hit by a tractor-trailer in the express lanes in Leonia at around 12:30 a.m. The car was heading northbound when it was forced to slow down due to traffic. The tractor-trailer failed to slow down and hit the car.
Two of the three people hospitalized are listed in critical condition. The third victim is listed in stable condition.
