Police: 2 men, 2 minors from New Jersey arrested on Long Island for firearm, drug possession

Police say a loaded 9 mm handgun and a substance believed to be ecstasy were recovered from inside the vehicle.

Police say two men and two boys from New Jersey were arrested after a gun and drugs were recovered in Hewlett.
Officers noticed a Black Honda with a cracked windshield and tinted windows Friday morning.
Police stopped the car near the intersection of Mill Road and Westervelt Place a little after 4 a.m.
The driver, 22-year-old Jamil Holcomb, and the front passenger, 24-year-old Terron Mingo, were both unable to provide identification for the car.
All four people in the car were taken to the Fourth Precinct.
Police say a loaded 9 mm handgun and a substance believed to be ecstasy were recovered from inside the vehicle.
Another substance believed to be Oxycodone was also found on Mingo, according to police.
Holcomb, Mingo and the two juveniles will head to First District Court to face criminal possession of a weapon and controlled substance charges.
