6h agoPolice confirm one person died in a Saturday night fire at a senior citizen housing complex in Ridgewood.
The Ridgecrest Apartments on Ridge Road was evacuated around 7:30 p.m.
Firefighters contained the blaze at the apartment where the person was found dead.
Their name has not been released.
The people who were evacuated are now back in their homes.
