State police: Pennsylvania man killed in Bordentown crash involving semi-trailer

Police say a Volvo bobtail traveled off the road, collided with a sound barrier and became engulfed in flames.

A man from Pennsylvania was killed Sunday morning in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Bordentown.
State police say a Volvo bobtail and Volvo semi-trailer were traveling southbound when both collided around 4 a.m. They say the Volvo bobtail traveled off the road, collided with a sound barrier and became engulfed in flames.
As a result of the crash, a 30-year-old man of Huntingdon Valley died. Officials had not identified the victim as of Sunday evening.
No other injuries were reported. The accident remains under investigation.
