Passaic County residents can now get mobile COVID-19 testing.
County officials say that the mobile unit was created to help people who can’t make it out to the testing site at William Paterson University.
The mobile test is a saliva test, which is less invasive. It is then mailed out for results.
“We try to make it convenient. We know that the way to combat this disease is to test as many people as we can,” says Passaic County Freeholder Director Sandi Lazzara. “So, if people can’t come to us, we’ll come to them.”
Results typically come back within 48 hours. Only Passaic County residents can get mobile testing.
