Police in Paramus are looking for more information following a couple of suspicious incidents of children being approached by adults.
According to police, the first happened Monday where a man asked a 10-year-old girl if she wanted a ride. The girl was walking in the area of Van Binsberger Boulevard, near Midland Avenue, at around 3:20 p.m. The vehicle was described as possibly a Jeep Wrangler.
Police say the second happened about a month ago on April 8 where a man asked an 8-year-old boy if he wanted candy in the area of Azalea Street and Roosevelt Boulevard.
In both cases, the children ran home and called police. The driver in both incidents was described as a white man with spikey hair.
It's unknown if it's the same man in both incidents.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Paramus Police Department at 201-262-3400.
