A Paramus man had to be rescued after his car flipped over onto its side in his own driveway Saturday.

First responders tore off the roof of the car to pull him out.

Police say the man was pulling into his driveway and hit the gas by mistake, which then sent vehicle into a retaining wall.

They say the driver was not seriously hurt.
