Overturned dump truck causes traffic problems on I-80
An overturned dump truck caused heavy traffic delays on Interstate 80.
Police say that the crash happened Wednesday morning on the westbound side of the highway near Exit 42 when a Jetta and the truck collided, causing the truck to tip over and spill dirt all over the highway.
Traffic was backed up for several miles while the crash and debris were cleared. I-80 has since reopened.

The dump truck driver was taken to Morristown Hospital to be treated for injuries. The driver of the Jetta was not seriously injured, according to officials.
This is the second serious crash to happen in this area over the last several weeks.
One person was killed and at least 20 injured when a bus and several other vehicles collided on the eastbound side of I-80 on Jan. 24. This crash happened about a mile away from where Wednesday’s dump truck crash occurred.
