All lanes on Route 36 in Middletown reopened to traffic after an oil tanker fire forced a shutown of the roadway in both directions on Saturday night, according to the Department of Transportation.
The Middletown Fire Department responded to the fire on Route 36 by Palmer Avenue, according to police.
No injuries were reported.
A cause of the fire was not immediately known as of Saturday night.
