Officials: Man fatally struck by New Jersey Transit train; no passengers hurt

New Jersey Transit police say a man was struck and killed by a train this morning in Newark.

New Jersey Transit police say a man was struck and killed by a train this morning in Newark.
The incident happened around 7:45 a.m. at the Broad Street station.
According to officials, Morris & Essex train 208 had left Montclair State University around 7:10 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Hoboken at 8 a.m.
Officials say around 20 passengers and crew were on the train. None of them were injured.
