A teenage candy maker celebrated International Lollipop Day by selling special lollipops for charity.

Lillypops was founded by 13-year-old Lilly Trentacosta. The Dumont native hand-makes and sells hundreds of lollipops every week -- including unique flavors like strawberry lemonade. She says that a portion of the proceeds always go to charity.

"Right now, we're giving back to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Fund but we've also given back to the Red Cross, Save the Children and a couple other local parks,” Lilly says.

The teen says that she has always wanted to give back to the community. She says that she hopes to expand her sales to stores across New Jersey.
