An ice cream shop in Bloomfield is gearing up for its national television debut on ?The Sopranos? series finale Sunday.
Holsten?s gained national attention a few months ago when the town initially banned the show from shooting one of its last scenes in the store. In the end, part of the hit show?s series finale was filmed in the 68-year-old ice cream parlor.
Since the show was taped in the parlor, shop owners have seen a spike in business. Many people have gone to the business wanting to get a glimpse of where Tony Soprano had a few scoops.
??The Sopranos? fans, the hardcore fans from Staten Island, Pennsylvania and upstate New York, they all wanted to see the location,? Holsten?s co-owner Ron Stark said.
Once the last episode airs on Sunday, June 10, Holsten?s will be added to ?The Sopranos? tour map of places used by the show.
