NJ American Water to distribute bottled water during boil water advisory for 9 towns

A mandatory boil water advisory remains in effect for nine towns in New Jersey following a loss of water pressure from a transmission main leak along Possumtown Road in Piscataway on Monday.

A mandatory boil water advisory remains in effect for nine towns in New Jersey following a loss of water pressure from a transmission main leak along Possumtown Road in Piscataway on Monday.
The towns included in the advisory are Clark, Dunellen, Edison, Green Brook, Linden, Middlesex, Piscataway, Roselle and South Plainfield.
New Jersey American Water has set up five bottled water distribution sites for the residents in the impacted towns. They also be open on Wednesday.
The locations are:
495 Sidney Road, Piscataway from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
4000 Hadley Road, South Plainfield from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
100 New Market Road, Dunellen from 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Warinanco Park @ the Ice Skating Center, 1 Park Dr, Roselle from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
136 Oak Ridge Road, Clark from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Officials say that the leak has been isolated. Water pressure was restored by Tuesday morning.
New Jersey American Water will alert customers when the boil water advisory is lifted.
