FANWOOD - Police say a woman was caught on surveillance video leaving a bridal shop in Fanwood with a $5,000 wedding dress she did not pay for.

Chamroen Seng, owner of Seng Couture, says the robbery may have been part of a scheme involving eight customers that came into the store two weeks ago. She says that while she was helping two women try on dresses, the suspect was able to slip out of the store with the expensive dress.

The other women left the store minutes later.

Anyone with information can call Detective Sgt. Eugene Chin, of the Fanwood Police Department, at 908-322-5000, ext. 119.
