FORT LEE - Police are looking for the driver that struck a 36-year-old woman in Fort Lee yesterday, leaving her with life-threatening injuries.

The woman was standing outside her parked car on Slocum Way just before 6 p.m. when she was struck by a black vehicle that left the scene.

Police say the crash had so much force, that the victim’s car door was bent in the opposite direction.

Several roads in the area were shut down during an investigation. The name of the victim has not been released.

Police are looking for a black car with front-end damage and asking anyone with information to call police.
