ROSELLE PARK - Firefighters rescued a woman from a burning home Monday morning in Roselle Park.

The fire broke out in a home on Westfield Avenue at around 3:30 a.m.

Fire officials say crews were hampered by an overabundance of items crowding the inside of the home.

Firefighters were able to locate the woman on the second floor of the home and get her to safety. She was taken to a hospital for an evaluation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
