A man is in critical condition this afternoon after he was shot while sitting in his wheelchair last night in Elizabeth.Elizabeth police say the 28-year-old

ELIZABETH - A man is in critical condition this afternoon after he was shot while sitting in his wheelchair last night in Elizabeth.

Elizabeth police say the 28-year-old man was shot on in the area of 642 Franklin St. They say he suffered a gun shot wound to the chest.

The victim was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Newark, where he remains in critical condition.

Police say no arrests have been made.
