EDISON - More showers and strong storms are possible for Friday night. Very heavy rain, lightning and damaging winds as well as small hail are all possible.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says Saturday, the storm front will stall just to New Jersey's south. Powers says there is still a threat of a shower or storm for the afternoon, but there will be more sun. Temperatures will respond and climb into the 80s for the day.

Sunday, drier air comes in for the second half of the weekend. Next week looks seasonable with highs in the 80s. There is a chance for showers and storms by Tuesday. Overall we should be a little quieter than what we had this past week.
