EDISON - Wet, windy and colder weather is moving across the Garden State.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologists say steady rain and wind is expected to turn to snow, as temperatures drop. The wintry mix is not expected to accumulate and will end by Wednesday morning.

A freeze warning has been issued for much of the state for the overnight hours.

Wednesday morning is expected to be chilly, with temperatures in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
