EDISON - Gusty thunderstorms have moved offshore. In their wake, colder air is moving in. Large puddles or any standing water left behind from this afternoon's storms will ice over.
Caution is urged if you are going to be driving overnight as entrance and exit ramps, as well as bridges and overpasses, will ice over first.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says the gusty winds could cause branches to come down and trees could snap toppling utility lines. Be prepared for the likelihood of power outages.
