EDISON - Residents on the Jersey Shore should expect storms and coastal flooding going into the weekend, especially if you live between Sandy Hook and Cape May.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren reports that Hurricane Sandy remains strong with winds at 105 mph.

As of today, the official track of Sandy's center could take it inland right through Long Beach Island before continuing to the Poconos.

Curren says a lot can change, but the Garden State seems to be in the crosshairs of the current storm system.
