Weather Update: Temps climb across Garden State

EDISON - Temperatures are headed into the mid-90s Thursday as the hazy, hot and humid weather continues.

A heat advisory is in place until 8 p.m. Thursday for Warren, Morris, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, western Monmouth, Ocean, southeast Burlington, eastern Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties.

An excessive heat warning remains in effect until 8 p.m. Thursday for Mercer, Gloucester, Camden and northwest Burlington counties.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says says temperatures could reach near 100 degrees in parts of the state.
