EDISON - Light snow could slow the ride home for commuters in New Jersey this afternoon.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says light rain will move in across the state at around 3 p.m. Rain is expected to change to snow in most parts after sunset.

Gregorio says an inch or less is possible in central and southern parts of the state.

The rain and snow could make for slippery driving conditions and motorists should use caution.
