EDISON - Another two-part winter storm that could bring snow, freezing rain and ice is taking aim at New Jersey.
A winter storm watch has been issued for Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Union, Hudson, Camden, Ocean, Monmouth, Gloucester, Burlington, Salem, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset, Sussex and Warren counties until Wednesday.
News 12 New Jersey meteorologist Dave Curren says more snow is expected to accumulate through the day tomorrow. Tuesday night into Wednesday morning the wintry mix and snow is expected to change over to freezing rain. A half-inch of ice is expected to entomb the Garden State for the mid-week commute. The second part of the storm is expected to bring rain, sleet, freezing rain and snow Wednesday morning.
