EDISON - A large complex system will be heading eastward and will spread rain across New Jersey starting tonight.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologist Michele Powers says Saturday will have a milder and soggier start, and drier air will arrive during the afternoon.

Powers says the rest of the weekend looks dry but cooler, with highs only in the upper 40s to near 50 by Sunday. Powers say the cooler temperatures will stick around for the early part of next week, with the possibility of some 60s later in the week.
