EDISON - With temperatures peaking in the upper 30's to upper 50's this afternoon, the ice and snow that has entombed the Garden State began to melt.

The warm-up was short lived, with another round of bitter cold settling in overnight. The puddles generated from the big melt will freeze, creating more problems for the morning commute.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that we will wake up with temperatures in the lower 20's. He says it will be bright and beautiful, but very slippery.
