Weather Update: Patchy fog, isolated storms

EDISON - Some severe and isolated storms are shaking parts of the Garden State this afternoon.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says parts of the state saw severe weather and lightning this afternoon, but these storms are just a precursor to some more severe weather heading our way by tomorrow afternoon.

Curren says New Jersey is under a moderate risk of thunderstorms this weekend, as dangerous weather could be developing by tomorrow evening.

Tonight, Curren says we can expect areas of patchy fog with otherwise clear to partly cloudy skies.
