EDISON - Patchy clouds and a chance of showers are lingering across the Garden State tonight.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures this evening will hover in the high 50s and lower 60s.

The News 12 New Jersey Weather Center is continuing to follow Hurricane Sandy as remnants from the storm could potentially affect the Jersey Shoreline this weekend and early next week.

Curren says the storm could potentially move out to sea and have little impact on New Jersey. This will be easier to determine by the end of this week.
