Weather Update: More unseasonable warmth expected for Tues.

EDISON - News 12 New Jersey meteorologist Dave Curren says the mercury inside the thermometer should reach for the upper 60s and lower 70s again Tuesday. Unlike Monday where Newark broke a record high temperature, New Jersey would have to get into the low 80s to even come close to tying a record of 86 degrees set in 1990.

Curren says the problem with Tuesday's forecast is the possibility of strong thunderstorms developing by day's end. The primary threat if these storms develop would be gusty winds and small hail.
