EDISON - Another spring snowstorm threatens to slow the morning commute in parts of the Garden State today.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says a winter storm watch is in effect for Sussex and West Passaic counties. Advisories are in effect for Hunterdon, Somerset, Warren, Morris, East Passaic and West Bergen counties.

Curren says the most snow will fall north of I-80 and west of I-287, with 4-6 inches plus of snow expected. Snow will begin to fall during the overnight hours and is expected to taper off by Thursday.

Other parts of the state are expected see more rain than snow. However, temperatures will be colder.
