EDISON - The weather continues to be hot and humid this evening throughout the Garden State.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says the storm systems are slowly weakening throughout New Jersey, and the thunderstorm threat should begin to wind down between 10 and 11 p.m.

Curren also says there may be another inch of rain in central New Jersey in the next 12 hours, with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.

There is a slight chance of a thunderstorm tomorrow, with temperatures in the low 90s.
