TRENTON - Remnants from Tropical Storm Lee continue to produce heavy rain and thunderstorms around New Jersey.

Streams throughout the state are at their banks and the water has nowhere to go because the ground is still saturated from Hurricane Irene's record downpour.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Jim McFadden says the Raritan and Passaic rivers, which forced residents into shelters last week, are at risk of moderate to major flooding, which could approach record flooding in some spots.

Flash flooding this morning closed low-lying roads near the Delaware River.

Flash flood and flood warnings are posted throughout the Garden State. McFadden says the rain is not expected to end until tomorrow.
