Weather update: Flood woes continue in northern NJ

EDISON - Flood warnings remain in place along the Passaic River this evening. Pine Brook and Little Falls are well above flood stage.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says the Passaic River crested at Little Falls on Saturday night. The river is expected to remain above flood stage until Wednesday.

The National Weather Service still has a river flood warning in effect for Passaic County as well as for Essex and Morris counties until further notice.

Tonight's temperatures are expected to be between 26 - 33 degrees. Tuesday's skies will be mostly sunny, with temperatures between 45 - 50 degrees. Winds will be calm.

Tuesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with temperatures between 34 - 39 degrees.
