EDISON - Scattered showers are moving across the Garden State today.

A flood warning remains in effect for Essex, Morris and Passaic counties. A flood watch is in place for Camden, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Northwestern Burlington, Salem, Somerset, Sussex, Warren and Western Monmouth counties. A flash flood watch is up for Bergen, Essex, Passaic and Union counties.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says periods of rain today could be heavy at times. Some parts of the state could see up to 5 inches of rain through Thursday.

Gregorio says temperatures will reach between 65 and 71 degrees before dipping to the low 60s overnight.
