Weather Update: Coastal storm moves in

EDISON - A slow-moving coastal storm with wind gusts between 35 and 40 mph near the coast is still making its way across the state.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says the storm is expected to bring 2-4 inches of rain between today and Friday.

Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory for sections of Ocean, Middlesex and Monmouth counties effective through 5 p.m. Friday. Coastal flooding is expected during periods of high tide.
