EDISON - Heavy rains flooded many areas across New Jersey yesterday and caused travel delays across the state.
News 12 New Jersey meteorologist James Gregorio says clouds will remain heavy across most of the state today. Gregorio says scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout the day. Some showers could bring heavy rains.
The state's rivers and streams are mostly in good shape despite strong storms.
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly says there are only three places above flood levels: the Maurice River in Cumberland County, the Millstone River in Somerset and streams around Lincoln Park in Morris County.
