Weather Update: Cloudy and warm for fireworks

EDISON - Isolated showers can be found throughout the tri-state area tonight, but News 12 New Jersey meteorologist Michele Powers says they'll most likely be bypassing New Jersey, leaving dry conditions for fireworks shows throughout the state.

Wednesday evening will be cloudy and temperatures in the low 80s will drop into the mid 70s by late tonight.

Thursday will be sunny and hot with highs in the mid-90s, but there will be much less humidity. The heat will remain throughout the weekend, with a chance of severe storms on Saturday.
