EDISON - Snow could make its first appearance of the season in New Jersey by the end of the week.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says there's a slight chance of snow in the higher elevations of northwestern New Jersey.

Powers says carry an umbrella since some sprinkles and showers will move in across parts of the state overnight into Thursday. Powers also says some of the rain could change over to a brief period of wet snow for our higher elevations in the northwestern part of the state during the evening hours.
