News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Justin Godynick says scattered thunderstorms are possible for the rest of the afternoon into the evening hours.

Skies should clear by the time night falls. Temperatures during the overnight hours are also expected to drop into the low 60s.

Wednesday is expected to be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the low 80s. The clouds could return in the evening with temperatures around 66 degrees.

Thursday should remain mostly sunny with high temperatures near 90 degrees. There could also be the chance of a thunderstorm Thursday as well.
