EDISON - Early morning snowfall left many New Jersey residents wondering where spring went.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says the colder temperatures will remain for today, but things will begin to warm up as the week goes on.

A freeze watch is in effect for tonight, so any outdoor plants should be taken inside if possible.

Today's windy conditions will also be a problem for allergy sufferers, as there is a high pollen count.

The good news is that conditions will remain dry, with the weekend seeing temperatures in the 60s.
